Under his astute leadership, the MAHIM Family Clinic came into existence, offering commendable medical services to the underserved, completely free of charge. Furthermore, as an executive member of the Minhaj-us-Sharqia Educational Society, Irfanuddin plays a pivotal role in supporting a plethora of institutions, including English and Urdu medium high schools, junior colleges, and vocational training centers aimed at empowering women. He dedicated a year at Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad, spent 8 valuable years at Dukair Medical Centre, and has been associated with the Regional Laboratory in Dammam for an impressive 14 years. As a passionate pathologist, his core interests lie in the specialized areas of Leukemia and Lymphoma Diagnosis, especially through High-End Tests, Bone Marrow Reporting, Flowcytometry, Coagulation Disorders, and Hemoglobinopathy Diagnosis. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Khan nurtures a love for reading books and is an avid cricket enthusiast. He also partakes in philanthropic activities, showcasing his commitment to societal well-being. Dr. Khan holds esteemed memberships in various medical organizations, including the Indian Association of Pathologist and Microbiologist (across both All India and Telangana Chapters), the Indian Association of Cytology, the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and the Hyderabad Academy of Pathology. Moreover, he has been recognized as an International Fellow by the College of American Pathology.
